You will learn about Mosaic history, the development of the art over thousands of years, the fundamental skills you need to make your first mosaic you will use materials, ceramic, broken dishware, glues, grouts, tools and safety gear. You will be instructed how to shape and place tesserae using the direct method. Design patterns will be offered or you can make up your own. The skills, which you will learn in the Basic Mosaic Course, will enable you to deal with larger and more ambitious projects.

Falicity Ball Mosaics

A lesson will also be given on grouting your tile mosaic so that you can grout your masterpiece at home. The grout will be provided for this.
