Tile Mosaic Art Class

You will learn about Mosaic history, the development of the art over thousands of years, the fundamental skills you need to make your first mosaic you will use materials, ceramic, broken dishware, glues, grouts, tools and safety gear. You will be instructed how to shape and place tesserae using the direct method. Design patterns will be offered or you can make up your own. The skills, which you will learn in the Basic Mosaic Course, will enable you to deal with larger and more ambitious projects.

Build your very own, personalized journal!
We will provide all of the paper, fabric, recycled book pages and lots of other fun things you will need to make your journal your very own. Of course, you are welcome to bring in your own favorite papers or pictures to add to your book.

In this workshop you will learn how to use the coil book binding machine and the basics of collage. All books will be bound with a plastic spring book coil.

Give a personalized journal as a gift this Christmas.
Fill it with photos, mementos and blank pages for journaling. Truly a unique present, made by you for someone special.
